Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving this year was pretty good. I got to see my grandma for the first time in a while. It kind of made me realize how I hadn't seen her as much since the pandemic started and since I've gotten my job. We used to see her a lot on the weekends, but I mainly work weekdays, so I haven't been going as much. Realizing this, I think I'm going to try to make more of an effort to go and see her once I get my booster shot.
The food we had this year was essentially the same as every year, still good, turkey, rolls, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cranberries(only my sister eats them though), salad, there's probably some more that I'm just not remember right now. We had a relatively small Thanksgiving this year, it was just my mom, my dad, grandma, sister, her fiancé, and I. It was small, but still nice getting to catch up with my sister and what they've been up to.
Overall this years Thanksgiving was good, It made me realize that I may have been growing distant from some of my family since starting college and my job. The pandemic also probably has some part with it. I'm going to start trying to see them more.
