The Nature Conservancy Project

        The organization that my group, Zak Cerny, David Hollerman, and me decided on was the Nature Conservancy, specifically the one in Indiana. The Nature Conservancy is a non-profit that aims to help combat the climate change issues happening throughout the world. 

        The one in Indiana works directly with law makers, local leaders, farmers, and big companies to change policies and help to reduce carbon emissions and other harmful things from the environment. One of the main ways they help to do this is by spreading awareness through their website. They have many great articles on ways to reduce your impact on the environment and about the wildlife in our area.

        My group and I tried to reach out to them for an interview for the project. Despite multiple attempts to contact them at multiple different branches, all were unsuccessful. Even with this set back, I believe that my group and I managed to make a good presentation and Zak did a good job on our deliverable, which was a flier. 

        Overall, I'd say that the project was a good learning experience on collaborating with other classmates and was interesting because of the organization that we picked.
