Computer Science

        I'm majoring in Computer Science at Purdue. What is computer science, computer science is related to algorithms with computers, it involves a decent amount of math and coding. The main thing with computer science is just understanding the logic and processes in which the computer operates these algorithms with. I think the main reason computer science interests me is because of the application of it. The study of these algorithms and applying them into practice with computers software and systems is a really interesting way of solving problems into today's modern world.

    

   The world is more reliant on computers today than even just 5 years ago. A lot of the things you interact with daily are run on computers and developed with the help of computer science practices. Everything from your coffee machine, to your car, to the atm. They surround us and are developed with the practices that come from computer science. As computers get more and more advanced we'll need to develop new methods to be faster and more versatile with these systems. I hope to make a difference in computer science and help to develop the next generation of computers and computer software.
